Computational Modeling in Cognition: Principles and Practice, by Stephan Lewandowsky and Simon Farrell, is being released in early December 2010. (Sage publishers;).



Although the book is aimed at a wide audience from across all areas of psychology, many of the hands-on programming examples in the book are taken from (working) memory. For example, the book contains examples involving Brown et al.'s SIMPLE and presents a tutorial instantiation of Baddeley's phonological loop, and so on. All programming examples are in MATLAB.
